We’re pleased to share recent field results showcasing the performance of our 3.5” undersized CW plasma cutter. In this job, the tool was successfully deployed to cut 7” 29# HC-L80-LTC casing under dry pipe conditions (0 psi hydrostatic).
The operation was carried out using the Chammas Electrical Anchor System (EAS), providing reliable anchoring and stability throughout the cut. The result was a clean, efficient cut—expanding the proven application range of our 3.5” CW plasma cutter to include 7” casing sizes.
This is a significant step forward for our plasma cutters, as it not only validates a new size range in field conditions but also demonstrates continued reliability in downhole applications.
