Recent field jobs continue to push the boundaries of what our undersized plasma cutters can achieve.
Using our 3.5″ undersized cutter, operators completed:
- Two clean cuts inside 7″ 29 ppf casing
- First cut at 1,200 ft (535 psi)
- Second cut at 3,450 ft (1,500 psi)
Both cuts were executed with precision, demonstrating consistent performance across varying depths and pressures.
In another operation:
- A 3″ undersized cutter successfully cut inside 6 5/8″ 304 stainless steel (6″ ID with a 3.5″ restriction)
- Cut depth: 2,000 ft
- Completed with zero overpull required
All operations were supported by our 2″ Electric Anchor System (EAS), ensuring stability and control throughout each cut.
The takeaway is simple:
Undersized doesn’t mean underperforming.
These results highlight our ability to deliver clean, efficient cuts in larger pipe, even when access is restricted and conditions are far from ideal.
